Beauty Justice is a program in the making created to confront ongoing colorism and anti-black beauty standards influenced by mainstream media. Its purpose is to challenge harmful narratives that suggest Black women’s beauty is undesirable, while addressing exaggerated and misleading statistics that distort how Black women are perceived. Beauty Justice also centers the importance of authentic skincare—rooted in honesty, wellness, and care for melanated skin.
